The high perlite content and peat moss increase air porosity and lower water retention, encouraging the leaching of fertilizer salts during the crop cycle and reducing water-related problems, which can lead to root disease, algae, and fungus gnats. This mix can be used out of the bag or as part of a customized blend. When using Procision Advantage, water more frequently than you would with a general-purpose peat-based mix.
